A family day out at Windsor Park

Junior prices, a dedicated family stand and a short walk from the train — why a Northern Ireland match is a great first football trip for young fans.

There's nothing quite like a young fan's first Northern Ireland game. Here's how to make it a good one.

The family stand

The East Stand is our family stand, entered from Donegall Avenue. It's home to the JD Northern Ireland Supporters' Store, so you can pick up a scarf on the way in, and to the Education and Heritage Centre, where stadium tours begin.

Family prices

In the family blocks, adult tickets are £30, concessions £20 and juniors (under-16s) just £10 — shown in sats at checkout, with the pound price alongside. Family blocks keep everyone sitting together, and paying over Lightning takes 5% off the whole order.

Tips for the day

  • Arrive early. Bags are searched at the gate, so give yourselves time.
  • Bring card or cash for the kiosks — there are no cash machines inside.
  • Take the train to Adelaide, a short walk from the ground, and skip the parking.
  • Tickets on your phone. Each member of the family has their own gate pass in the app, and you can hold them all as lead booker.
